Situations where you might need a customized electronic systems are manifold.

 

For example, could be used for process and production controls, parking access control, automatic ticketing for vehicles and people, fleet management, active assistance to the sick and elderly, etc..

 

Many of these applications require an evolved user interface, simple and intuitive, with a highly reliable and low cost hardware.

We have already made several applications with embedded fan-less PC (without cooling fan), running Windows CE or Windows XP embedded mounted on Compact Flash cards, interfaced to I/O modules for the acquisition of analog and digital signals, touch screen display, bar-code readers and RF-ID, printers, keyboards and keypads.

 

Some systems are mounted on veichles operating in an open environment, directly exposed to weather agents with temperatures varying from -20 to +60 C, have already proven to be very reliable
